Cheretta Hill, Zumba Instructor
My name is Cheretta Hill and I am currently a certified Zumba Fitness Instructor. I became a certified
Zumba Instructor in August of 2009. My certifications include Zumba Basics 1, Zumba Basics 2, Zumba Toning, and Zumbatomic
for kids.
Teaching and taking Zumba Classes have allowed me to grow personally and meet so many amazing
people. It has helped me to become more fit and healthier as I have lost 85 pounds and counting since I have started my journey.
The most important is that it has left a major impact on my life by causing me to be and feel better physically and mentally.
The
amazing students and instructors that I have met and continue to meet, inspire me on a daily basis. I truly enjoy reaching
out to others and being touched by them as well. To feel the energy of others in a great place, dancing, and letting go of
everything is rewarding. It is an experience that I live for and am blessed to have.
I
love music and I love dance! Dance is one of the most expressive forms of body movement that
helps to free our minds, bodies, and souls. The emotions and ideas that are communicated through dance and music are so powerful!
Dance is a gift for us to take care of ourselves and a gift to reach others. We just have to let go of our inhibitions that
hold us back from moving freely and experiencing this art form.
